Where tea pickers dress to kill!

In Kenya, tea pickers are not only regarded as  among  the underpaid lot, but are almost always in pathetic situation with most turning up in the farms in soiled and tattered clothes, including overcoats. The state of tea baskets just matches with the tea pickers.

However, such sorry state in not common among tea pickers in China, where it is not uncommon to see most  turning up for work smartly-dressed, as if, in the Kenyan common parlance, they are going to church! Perhaps, it is time Kenyan employers helped their workers to style up!
