Floating bridge still strong to serve!

In Kenya, it's not known for even concrete  bridges built on land to last for decades. However, across China's Gongjiang River in Ganzhou, in Jiangxi Province, people still use an wooden bridge built between 1163 and 1173 during the Song Dynasty, without fear it will collapse.

The bridge, running 400 metres, is supported by 100 floating boats anchored in a row.  And the bridge appears still strong to serve! (Text: Stephen Mburu. Photos: Xinhua)
