Vera Sidika, will no participating in the new season of Big Brother Africa that kicks off on September 6.

Controversial Kenyan socialite, Vera Sidika, will no participating in the new season of Big Brother Africa that kicks off on September 6.

According to a source that spoke to a popular local daily, Vera will not represent Kenya in the Big Brother house due to rival socialite Huddah Monroe's dismal performance at last season’s show.

Vera had been fronted as a strong contender to represent Kenya as she has a huge online following. However, producers of the reality TV show don’t want to have another socialite on the show.

“There will be no more Huddah types for Big Brother Africa. The rule of thump is to keep the audience glued. That Vera had right. What is interesting is that they all agree that her audition was flawless. They are still in - love with her. But as they say, they fear the Huddah Curse. They love her but they are so petrified of another Huddah, they will settle for a boring person." The source further added.

Meanwhile, word has it that Kenyan actress, Ella Ciku, who stars in Mali show aired on DSTV, could be the contestant short-listed to represent Kenya in the reality show.

We wish her the best as she  flies Kenyan flag high in the up-coming reality show.
